Lifting Oil and Gas Operation

About the Course:

The lifting operation of oil and gas production activities must be optimized to maximize profits for the company. Therefore, a thorough understanding among all production personnel in the field is essential. This training will cover the operational methods for oil and gas wells, the techniques and processes for lifting and transporting them to the surface, as well as the treatment and refining of oil and gas. Additionally, participants will learn how to manage production wastewater to prevent environmental pollution.

• Understanding the separation processes for oil, water, and gas at the surface.

Course Content:

1. Oil Well Production Operation:
   • Production equipment in oil wells.
   • Methods for lifting oil from the reservoir to the surface.
2. Gas Well Production Operation:
   • Production equipment in gas wells.
   • Methods for lifting gas from the reservoir to the surface.
3. Oil and Water Piping System:
   • Equipment and systems for transporting oil and water at the surface from wells.
   • Manifolds and gathering stations, including flow lines, valves, manifolds, pump stations, etc.
4. Oil and Water Treatment:
   • Equipment and processes for treating oil and water.
5. Gas Piping System:
   • Equipment and systems for transporting gas at the surface from wells.
   • Manifolds and gas processing plants, including flow lines, valves, manifolds, scrubbers, compressor stations, etc.
6. Gas Processing Plant:
   • Gas dehydrators.
   • Processes for CO2 and H2S removal.
7. Oil Storage and Loading:
   • Oil storage facilities.
   • Measurement and loading processes.

About the Trainer:

Prof. Herianto, Ir., M.Sc., Ph.D

Prof. Herianto, Ir., M.Sc., Ph.D., adalah seorang ahli di bidang Teknik Perminyakan dengan pengalaman luas sejak tahun 1983. Beliau merupakan dosen senior di Program Sarjana dan Magister Teknik Perminyakan UPN Veteran Yogyakarta serta mengajar di Universitas Trisakti, Universitas Riau, dan institusi lainnya. Selain sebagai pendidik, Prof. Herianto juga berperan aktif sebagai konsultan dan trainer di berbagai perusahaan minyak, seperti Pertamina, Chevron, Total Indonesie, hingga Petronas.

Prof. Herianto memiliki pengalaman sebagai Manager Support di GeoQues Schlumberger serta terlibat dalam berbagai proyek besar, seperti kajian prospek migas dan geothermal, pengembangan model kontrak CBM, hingga proyek ketahanan energi nasional. Beliau juga merupakan instruktur bersertifikasi untuk pelatihan Drilling IADC dan Well Control.

Sebagai narasumber dan peneliti, Prof. Herianto telah mempublikasikan karya ilmiah di forum nasional dan internasional. Dari tahun 2011-2016, beliau menjabat sebagai pimpinan di PT. Riau Petroleum. Saat ini, beliau aktif memberikan pelatihan dan berkonsultasi di bidang migas dan panas bumi, termasuk dalam topik Well Barrier dan Well Integrity di berbagai perusahaan energi di Indonesia dan internasional.
