Pada kompresor sentrifugal\, gangguan operasi dapat menyebabkan penurunan kapasitas produksi\, peningkatan biaya operasi\, hingga risiko keselamatan kerja akibat terjadinya trip mendadak atau kondisi operasi yang tidak stabil. DESCRIPTION:BACKGROUND:\nThis course teaches how to listen to the well\, perform simple tests on the rig\, and make proper decisions unique to each well. The intent is to eliminate visible and invisible Non-Productive Time (NPT). Visible NPT includes stuck pipe\, conditioning drilling fluid\, lost circulation\, etc. Invisible NPT is often far more expensive and includes drilling much slower than is possible\, wearing out the bits prematurely\, and bad cement barriers. Considerable attention is devoted to correcting drilling fluid properties and controlling filter cake quality. This eliminates many seen and unseen obstacles for drilling a trouble-free hole as cheaply as possible. This involves proper drilling fluid processing in the surface tanks. No discussion will be presented of fishing tools—they should rarely be needed after this course. Beliau merupakan dosen senior di Program Sarjana dan Magister Teknik Perminyakan UPN Veteran Yogyakarta serta mengajar di Universitas Trisakti\, Universitas Riau\, dan institusi lainnya. Selain sebagai pendidik\, Prof. Herianto juga berperan aktif sebagai konsultan dan trainer di berbagai perusahaan minyak\, seperti Pertamina\, Chevron\, Total Indonesie\, hingga Petronas. \nProf. Herianto memiliki pengalaman sebagai Manager Support di GeoQues Schlumberger serta terlibat dalam berbagai proyek besar\, seperti kajian prospek migas dan geothermal\, pengembangan model kontrak CBM\, hingga proyek ketahanan energi nasional. Beliau juga merupakan instruktur bersertifikasi untuk pelatihan Drilling IADC dan Well Control. \nSebagai narasumber dan peneliti\, Prof. Herianto telah mempublikasikan karya ilmiah di forum nasional dan internasional. Dari tahun 2011-2016\, beliau menjabat sebagai pimpinan di PT. Riau Petroleum.
