SUMMARY:Compressors and Dry Gas Seal System Operation & Maintenance
DESCRIPTION:Overview:\nCompressors play a critical role in oil & gas\, petrochemical\, power generation\, and process industries\, where reliable gas compression is essential for production continuity\, efficiency\, and safety. Modern compressor packages operate at high speed\, high pressure\, and increasingly stringent environmental requirements\, making sealing systems a key element in overall compressor reliability. Dry gas seal technology has become the industry standard for centrifugal and high-performance compressors due to its ability to minimize gas leakage\, reduce friction losses\, eliminate oil contamination\, and support emission control targets. SUMMARY:Gas Production Optimization
DESCRIPTION:Background & About the Course\nThe Indonesia Oil Fields need to obtain more reserves\, gas can be the second backbone for national energy reserves. Hence\, the existing ones need to be optimized. The Gas Production Optimization training is to help participants understand the considerations involved in designing and selecting gas well production operation methods. This includes aspects from the reservoir\, wellhead\, separator\, gas processing\, pumps\, piping\, to gas metering. Participants will learn the theory\, applications\, and calculations starting from the fundamentals of reservoir engineering and production engineering\, as well as gas properties\, equipment for gas production\, pipeline design\, and production problem-solving. \nThe training will cover how reservoir rock\, porosity\, permeability\, and fluid properties are measured in the laboratory\, and how these fluid properties affect fluid flow from the reservoir to the surface and ultimately to the end user. Participants will also learn about gas well testing methods\, including Pressure Build-up Tests\, Drawdown Tests\, and other gas well testing techniques\, supported by various field case studies. With years of experience\, Prof. Herianto continuously updates and enhances the training material. By the end of this training\, participants will be equipped to optimize natural gas production effectively. \nCourse Objectives\n\nUnderstand reservoir and resource fundamentals.\nAcquire technical knowledge in production.\nOptimize production systems.\nDevelop field management strategies.\nAchieve operational excellence.\n\nWho Should Attend\nThis training is recommended for: \n\nPetroleum Engineers and Reservoir Engineers\nGas Plant Supervisors and Engineers\nProduction Operators\, Supervisors\, and Engineers\nGas Engineers and Equipment Engineers\nMaintenance Managers and Supervisors\nPiping and Pipeline Supervisors and Engineers\n\nCourse Outline\n\nReservoirs of Oil and Natural Gas\nReserve Forecasting and Decline Curve Analysis\nFundamentals of Production Engineering\nPhysical Properties of Gas\nGas Processing Techniques\nGas Piping Systems\nCompressors and Pumps\nMeasurement of Natural Gas and Liquids\nGas Measurement under AGA Standards\nPigging Operations\nFluid-Rock Interactions\nWater Injection Techniques\nGas Field Management\n\nAbout the Course Leader:\nProf. Dr.-Ing.
