Peralatan yang digunakan sebagai acuan harus dapat ditelusuri secara langsung ke peralatan yang dikalibrasi sesuai ISO/IEC 17025. \nTujuan kalibrasi adalah untuk meminimalkan ketidakpastian pengukuran dengan memastikan keakuratan peralatan uji. He earned his Engineering Physics degree from ITB in 1990 and a PhD in Control Engineering from The Australian National University in 2001.
