SUMMARY:Oil Export System Equipment & Operations
DESCRIPTION:Background & About the Course\nExporting is a critical endpoint in oil and gas production operations\, where commodities are prepared for delivery to end customers. Given that oil is a flammable commodity sensitive to environmental issues\, it requires specialized skills and handling methodologies. \nThis training will begin with a refresher on the basics of oil commodities and production systems\, followed by an in-depth exploration of the technical operations\, handling systems\, and transportation of crude oil. \nCourse Objectives\nAfter attending this training\, participants will: \n\nLearn about oil export systems operations.\nUnderstand pipeline operation and maintenance.\nGain insights into oil and gas metering systems.\nComprehend pipeline inspection and maintenance procedures.\nUnderstand sizing procedures and formulas for oil export pipelines.\n\nWho Should Attend\nThis training is primarily targeted at: \n\nProcess technicians\nProcess technologists\nMaintenance personnel\nEmployees involved in equipment and materials purchasing\, procurement\, job planning\, and immediate supervisors of working technicians.\n\nCourse Content\n\nIntroduction to Oil Export Systems and Operations\nOverview of Facility and Pipeline Systems\nPipe\, Piping\, and Pipeline\nPressure Containment of the Pipeline\nPipe Codes\, Standards\, and Recommended Practices\nPipe Grades\, Materials\, and Selection\nPipe Standards and Dimensions\nWall Thickness and Schedule Number Determination\nSizing Procedures and Formulas for Oil Export Pipelines\nOffshore Considerations\nPiping System Components\, Fittings\, and Valves\nFluid Flow Mechanics and Pressure Drop\nRelief\, Vent\, and Flare Disposal Systems\nDrain and Exhaust Lines\nCentrifugal and Reciprocating Pump Operations\nPipeline Operations and Integrity Assessment\nInspection and Maintenance Systems\nPressure Testing and Nondestructive Examination\nPipeline Pigging\, Pig Types\, and Pigging Operations\nPipeline Emergencies and Repairs\nPrinciples and Selection of Oil and Gas Metering Systems\nCustody Transfer\nLoss and Unaccounted for Fluid (LAUF)\n\nAbout the Course Leaders\nIr. In Jumanda Kasdadi\, M.T. has been a lecturer and trainer since 1997\, delivering nearly 280 training sessions (both public and in-house) across various industries\, particularly in oil and gas. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology and has completed nine specialized courses in the oil and gas field at PETEX (Petroleum Extension)\, University of Texas at Austin. \nIn addition to his formal education\, he possesses numerous professional certifications\, including a Lecturer Certificate from the Indonesian Minister of Education\, Construction\, Electrical\, and Fire Protection Certificates from the HSE Association Indonesia (ALPK3)\, and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) Facilitator certification. He has trained personnel from major companies such as Pertamina\, Chevron\, Total Indonesie\, and Freeport\, among others. \nIr. Nurcahyo\, M.T. is also a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry\, contributing to various projects\, including feasibility studies\, front-end engineering design (FEED)\, and risk assessments. Together\, they bring extensive expertise and practical knowledge to the training sessions.
