SUMMARY:Electrical Power System Analysis and Protection with ETAP
DESCRIPTION:Electrical Power System Analysis and Protection with ETAP\n  \nBACKGROUND & ABOUT THE COURSE:\nElectrical power systems are the backbone of modern infrastructure\, supporting industrial\, commercial\, and residential operations. As power systems grow in complexity\, ensuring their reliability\, stability\, and protection becomes increasingly critical. Accurate analysis and robust protection schemes are essential to prevent faults\, minimize downtime\, and safeguard equipment. \nETAP (Electrical Transient Analyzer Program) is an industry-leading software widely used for power system modeling\, analysis\, and operation. Mastery of ETAP enables engineers and technicians to simulate and optimize power systems effectively\, enhancing performance and ensuring compliance with industry standards. \nAbout the Course: This comprehensive training program focuses on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze and protect electrical power systems using ETAP. The course covers fundamental and advanced concepts\, including load flow analysis\, short circuit studies\, arc flash analysis\, and relay coordination. Through hands-on exercises and case studies\, participants will gain practical experience in modeling real-world power systems\, identifying potential issues\, and designing effective protection strategies. \nTRAINING OBJECTIVES:\nThe purpose of this course is to develop a thorough understanding of power system analysis as well as the overall capabilities of Power Station.  Class room discussion and problem-solving has been designed to provide the analytical techniques necessary to solve a wide variety of practical problem. \nBy the end of the course\, participants will be proficient in utilizing ETAP to conduct power system analysis\, ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical networks in various operational environments. \n\nLearn & get better understanding of electric power system operation and condition\nLearn & better understanding the types of Failure\nLearn and better understanding of Protection scheme for major equipment\nLearn & better understanding of Application with ETAP\nAble to apply the knowledge on the job sites\n\nCOURSE CONTENT:\n\nCommon Type of Failures\nProtection scheme for major equipment:\n\nElectric motor\,\nGenerator\,\nMCC\,\nSwitchgear\,\nTransformer:\n\n\n\n\nPrinciple of protection function\nApplication to design & setting\n\n\nShort circuit study\, load flow study\, motor starting study\, transient stability study\, protection coordination study\nApplication with ETAP\nEnergy discrimination\nExercise Application on ETAP\n\nWHO SHOULD ATTEND:\n\nElectric Engineer/ Supervisor/ Superintendent\nPower Plant Maintenance Engineer/ Supervisor/ Superintendent\nPower Plant Operation Engineer/ Supervisor/ Superintendent\nEverybody or professional who wants to broaden knowledge or gain Benefit from this course\n\nABOUT THE TRAINER:\n\n Toto Tohir\, ST.\, MT/ Supriyanto\, ST.\, MT \n Toto Tohir\, ST.\, MT memperoleh gelar Doktor dari UGM\, setelah meraih Sarjana & Master dari ITB bidang Elektro.\n\nSelain pendidikan formal\, Pak Toto juga ber-sertifikat sebagai: Insinyur Profesional dari PII\, Ahli Teknik Tenaga Listrik – Madya dari PII\, Ahli K3 Listrik dari Kementrian Tenaga Kerja\, Ahli Kelistrikan Instalasi Pemanfaatan Tegangan rendah dari BNSP\, Dosen Profesional (Kementerian Ristek Dikti) \nBeliau adalah dosen sekaligus praktisi.
