Rotating Equipment and Machineries

Background & About the Course
Rotating equipment & machinery often just called rotating, involves components that transfer energy between working fluids and machines. This transfer can occur from the rotor to the fluid (as in pumps and fans) or from the fluid to the rotor (as in turbines). Common examples include fans, pumps, compressors, turbines, and wind turbine generators. These machines are essential for plant production operations and require proper understanding and maintenance.
This comprehensive training program will cover the operation and maintenance of these critical machines, ensuring participants gain valuable knowledge for their daily work. The training is proposed to last 10 days, ideally split into two sessions of 5 days each.
Objectives:
- Provides the participant full knowledge of widely used rotating equipment, including theoretical and practical discussion
- Participant will be able to understand the characteristic of rotating equipment by apprehending the basic, construction, operation, maintenance, performance and testing, and also trouble shooting and discussion.
- Refresh the knowledge of participants who has been sometime away from machineries equipment
- Implement better operation & maintenance practices related to rotating equipment.
