Genset: Technology, Operation and Maintenance

May 6 @ 8:30 am - May 8 @ 4:00 pm
Rp. 7950000
Genset-Technology-Operation-Maintenance

Background & About the Course:

Generator set (genset) is essential equipment that combines an electrical generator with an engine to produce electricity. Gensets are widely used as backup power sources during outages and, in some cases, as the primary power source for remote locations or critical operations.

Given their critical role, ensuring gensets are well-maintained and operated efficiently is vital to avoid power disruptions. This training program focuses on the technology, operation, and maintenance of gensets, providing participants with the necessary skills to ensure reliable and optimal performance.

Course Objectives:

  • Understand the working principles and technology behind gensets.
  • Operate gensets efficiently to maximize performance and longevity.
  • Perform routine and periodic maintenance to prevent failures.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot common genset issues.
  • Ensure safety procedures during genset operation and maintenance.
  • Select the appropriate genset based on operational needs and power requirements.

Who Should Attend:

  • Maintenance Technicians
  • Genset Operators
  • Technical Supervisors
  • Electrical Engineers
  • Energy Management Staff
  • Facility Managers
