BACKGROUND & ABOUT THE COURSE:
Electrical power systems are the backbone of modern infrastructure, supporting industrial, commercial, and residential operations. As power systems grow in complexity, ensuring their reliability, stability, and protection becomes increasingly critical. ETAP (Electrical Transient Analyzer Program) is an industry-leading software widely used for power system modeling, analysis, and operation. Mastery of ETAP enables engineers and technicians to simulate and optimize power systems effectively, enhancing performance and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
About the Course: This comprehensive training program focuses on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze and protect electrical power systems using ETAP. The course covers fundamental and advanced concepts, including load flow analysis, short circuit studies, arc flash analysis, and relay coordination. Through hands-on exercises and case studies, participants will gain practical experience in modeling real-world power systems, identifying potential issues, and designing effective protection strategies.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
The purpose of this course is to develop a thorough understanding of power system analysis as well as the overall capabilities of Power Station. Class room discussion and problem-solving has been designed to provide the analytical techniques necessary to solve a wide variety of practical problem.
