Background & About the Course
Effective coal handling operations at coal-fired power plants (PLTU) are crucial for the sustainability of power generation and the national electricity supply. While coal is not as flammable as liquid fuels, it still requires special handling due to its solid form.
Coal remains a widely used fuel source in the industry due to its relative affordability. The handling equipment must be appropriately designed to manage coal from its arrival, through stockpiling, to its introduction into the combustion process.
Course Objectives
By participating in this training, participants are expected to:

- Operate conveyor equipment for coal loading and unloading in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP).

Maridjo, Drs, S.T., M. T., adalah alumni dari Teknik Mesin Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Dia telah menjadi dosen di PEDC dan sekarang sebagai dosen di teknik mesin Polytechnique ITB (POLBAN).
